Care guide

Knitted Garments

Each knitted piece from Lunges is crafted with fibers selected for their softness, durability, and natural elegance. To preserve their shape, texture, and color over time, we recommend the following care steps:

  1. Gentle washing
Hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or softeners that can damage the fibers.

  2. Natural drying
After washing, gently press out excess water (do not wring) and lay flat on a clean towel to air dry. Do not hang, as it may lose its shape.

  3. Storage
Store folded, never on hangers. If possible, place inside breathable cotton bags to protect from dust and moisture.

  4. Ironing and maintenance
If ironing is needed, use low temperature with a thin cloth between the iron and the garment. You can also refresh the fibers using steam from a distance.

  5. Love and time
Knits are delicate and unique. Treat them with the same care they were made with, and they will accompany you for many years with their timeless elegance.

Jersey Garments

Lunges jersey pieces are an expression of elevated comfort — soft, flexible, and meticulously crafted to wrap the body in natural elegance. Every thread tells a story of dedication and balance, and their care should reflect the same attention with which they were created.

  1. Gentle washing
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Handle with care — do not rub or twist. For machine washing, use a delicate cycle and place inside a protective mesh bag.

  2. Slow drying
After washing, remove excess water by pressing gently between two clean towels. Lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid hanging, as water weight may alter the shape.

  3. Ironing and maintenance
If necessary, iron on low heat or use steam from a distance. Avoid direct contact with the iron to maintain the fabric’s natural texture. Between uses, let the garment rest so fibers recover their natural elasticity.

  4. Mindful storage
Store folded and clean, preferably in fabric or cotton boxes. Do not hang; jersey fabrics keep their shape best when at rest.

  5. Enduring elegance
Each Lunges jersey piece is designed to accompany you gracefully through time. Wash with love, handle with calm, and let them retain their softness and natural drape.

Cotton Garments

Lunges cotton is carefully selected for its purity, softness, and natural freshness. Each piece is made to offer timeless comfort and elegance — deserving of care that preserves its essence.

  1. Soft washing
Wash in cold or lukewarm water, using a gentle cycle and neutral detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or chlorine, which can alter color and texture.

  2. Natural drying
Air dry, preferably in the shade. Avoid tumble drying, as excessive heat can shrink fibers and reduce softness.

  3. Careful ironing
Iron at medium temperature, ideally when slightly damp. For white garments, iron on the outside; for colored ones, iron inside out to preserve tone.

  4. Storage
Store clean, dry, and neatly folded in a cool, ventilated place. Cotton breathes — keeping it away from humidity will extend its life and natural elegance.

  5. Conscious timelessness
Lunges cotton is made to last. Care for it intentionally, wash with love, and let it age gracefully — every wear tells a story of enduring elegance.

Recycled Polyester

At Lunges, every piece made from recycled polyester represents a fusion of conscious elegance and responsible innovation. These garments combine strength, lightness, and sustainability — deserving of care that preserves both their beauty and purpose.

  1. Responsible washing
Wash in cold water using delicate programs and mild detergents. Avoid softeners, which can affect breathability and structure. To reduce microfiber release, we recommend using a specialized washing bag for synthetic fabrics.

  2. Delicate drying
Air dry flat or on a wide hanger. Avoid tumble drying, as heat may alter fibers and shorten durability.

  3. Moderate ironing
If needed, iron at low temperature or use steam from a distance. Avoid direct heat on prints or logos.

  4. Mindful storage
Store garments clean, fully dry, and in a cool place. Recycled polyester keeps its shape easily but appreciates room to breathe.

  5. Elegance with purpose
Each fiber tells a story of renewal. Care for them with the same respect with which they were created — as a reflection of luxury that transcends seasons and honors the planet.

Lyocell Garments

Lyocell is a natural, plant-based fiber known for its silky softness, flawless drape, and low environmental impact. At Lunges, we choose it for its purity, breathability, and timeless sophistication.

  1. Delicate washing
Wash in cold or lukewarm water, using a mild detergent and short cycles. Avoid bleach or softeners, as they can affect the fiber’s natural structure.

  2. Elegant drying
After washing, gently press out excess water and lay flat or hang in the shade to dry. Avoid tumble dryers, as high heat can weaken fibers.

  3. Careful ironing
Iron on low or medium temperature, with steam or while slightly damp. For best results, iron inside out.

  4. Proper storage
Store clean and fully dry, preferably on wide hangers or neatly folded. Lyocell stays best in cool, ventilated spaces.

  5. Conscious wear
Lyocell reflects the Lunges philosophy: responsible luxury, effortless elegance, and respect for nature. Care for your garments with the same balance with which they were created, and they will accompany you gracefully through time.

Cashmere Garments

Cashmere is one of the world’s finest fibers — light, warm, and exquisitely soft. Every Lunges cashmere piece embodies the quiet elegance of true luxury and the refined sensitivity of timeless style. Its delicate nature requires careful attention to preserve its sublime texture and perfect form.

  1. Gentle washing
Hand wash in cold water using a special wool or delicate fabric detergent. Move gently in the water without rubbing or twisting.

  2. Artisanal drying
After washing, press gently on a clean towel to remove excess water, then lay flat to dry away from sunlight or heat sources. Do not hang — water weight may deform it.

  3. Ironing and daily care
If desired, use a warm iron or gentle steam on the reverse side. Between wears, allow the garment to rest so fibers regain their natural volume.

  4. Elegant storage
Store completely clean and dry, folded in breathable fabric bags or boxes. During warmer months, add lavender or natural cedar sachets to keep them protected.

  5. Luxury that endures
Cashmere is an investment in elegance and comfort. Treat it with tenderness and respect — the more care it receives, the softer and more beautiful it becomes over time.
